Hundreds of Macclesfield residents who live in Pennine Court and Range Court flats in Hurdsfield have no re-cycling facilities. The residents only have bin chutes that take all kinds of waste together. Our planet's resources are finite. Dumping recyclable materials in landfill is not acceptable. Members of Cheshire East Green Party have been lobbying the landlord, Cheshire Peaks & Plains and waste collector Ansa. As a result, these two parties have at least agreed to meet to discuss how recycling may work in practice. This is a long way from re-cycling facilities being provided for residents. Green Party members are keen to help in any way they can. Watch this space for further developments in this ongoing campaign.
