We are the local Green Party for the Borough of Cheshire East. We fighting for a fairer society and a local political system that puts the public first. We aim to protect our environment and campaign for a more sustainable future across the area.
We work across Cheshire East Borough to stand in council and parliamentary elections. Our aim is to build a society for the common good across Crewe & Nantwich, Congleton, Macclesfield, Tatton and part of the Eddisbury parliamentary constituencies.
We have 4 local sub-groups based in the four parliamentary constituencies. They meet regularly in Crewe & Nantwich, Congleton, Macclesfield and Tatton.

The Government has published a pamphlet describing its "Bold future vision for cycling and walking in England". The itemised benefits are:
"Places will be truly walkable. A travel revolution in our streets, towns and communities will have made cycling a mass form of transit. Cycling and walking will be the natural first choice for many journeys with half of all journeys in towns and cities being cycled or walked by 2030."
This is very encouraging. It's packed with ideas about how councils should proceed.
