Thank You,

Thank you to everyone who voted for me, and for those who contributed to my Crowdfunder.

The result is of course disappointing but I’m still smiling and still passionate about listening to residents, challenging the status quo, and getting things done. Whether it’s safer streets, better youth support, or greener infrastructure, I’ll continue to campaign hard to deliver opportunities and a positive outcomes for Alsager.

And I’ll remember that 44% of the fifth (approximately) of the electorate who voted on the 5th June or by postal vote, voted for the Reform candidate. That’s less than 10% of the total possible electorate. When you next get an opportunity PLEASE VOTE.

“Charlotte is a hardworking and caring resident of Alsager, who is committed to making the town safer and more prosperous for the benefit of everyone here.”

Rich McCarthy, Green Party Councillor, Alsager Town Council

GREENS ARE STILL ACTIVE IN ALSAGER

What I CONTINUE TO stand for:

A Better, Greener Alsager
From tidier streets to greener spaces, I’ll work to improve the town for everyone. Improving our town today and for future generations.

Prioritise wellbeing
Your mental and physical health matters. I’ll support services and spaces that support community wellbeing.

Safer, Greener Transport
I’ll work hard to fix our roads and pathways. We need safe cycle ways, level pathways and pothole free roads to make moving around our town, however you do that, pleasurable AND accessible to all.

Debunking myths
I’ll debunk harmful myths and stand up for truth, transparency, and evidence-based decisions. Whether it’s claims that the climate emergency doesn’t exist, that grant funding is ‘too woke’, or that further privatising community services, like water and electricity, will somehow save us money, it’s time to dispel these lazy lies and challenge this thinking.

Invest in Our Young People.

I’ll fight for youth clubs and support for young people in Alsager. Giving them safe, positive spaces to connect and grow.
