We require your assistance in gathering residents’ opinions in Macclesfield Central. Would you be available to help us on a Saturday morning? rspca campaign – join us litter picking


The Great British Spring Clean is an annual community campaign in partnership with Keep Britain Tidy.

From 21 March – 6 April 2025, you can pledge to clear up litter in your local area that damages our environment and poses a risk to wildlife of every kind, to protect them for future generations.


Cheshire Tree Alliance – Cheshire Tree Conference

Cheshire Tree Conference, Sandbach Town Hall, Sunday 6th April 11am – 3.30pm

More details will be shared once online registration has been set up, but here’s the outline programme:  

10.30 – Registration
11am -Open conference
3.30pm – Close

  • Birmingham TreePeople: Zero to Hero
  • Cllr Sam Corcoran, Cheshire East Council’s Environment and Climate Change Champion: Tree planting community groups
  • Mersey Forest: Grant support and the Plan Refresh
  • Transition Wilmslow and Mersey Forest: Working with CEC on local tree planting
  • Panel Discussion: How to plant in urban green spaces
  • Cheshire Wildlife Trust: Tree propagation schemes and training/support
  • Open Mic: Cheshire Tree Groups present on their local activities
  • Panel Discussion: Q&A with speakers

There will be a lunch break, but lunch is not provided.
